Things were looking good when we arrived in the town to find promotional stuff in the cafes and we were looking forward not only to a good race but also to a decent crowd, especially after the "big storm on the horizon, crashes of thunder, flashes of lightning...very little rain" of Zhuhai.

The pitlane and paddock was as busy as ever...but it didn't seem that there were any preparations for off-track entertainment whatsoever. No dance tent, for a start. So, we had a great race....but nobody to see it...again. I was told that there was a bar tent just by the circuit entrance...I actually saw it (empty) when we drove past...but was told that it closed around midnight during the race because nobody used it.
